Kamajan, LLC recognizes the importance of protecting your personal information, and will observe the Act on the Protection of Personal Information ("Personal Information Protection Act") and exert efforts to properly handle and protect your personal information according to the following privacy policy ("Privacy Policy").
- Definition of personal information
In this Privacy Policy, the term "personal information" refers to the "personal information" defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Act; specifically, information about a living individual which can identify the specific individual by name, date of birth or other description contained in such information (including such information as will allow easy reference to other information and will thereby enable the identification of the specific individual).
- Purpose of utilization of personal information
Kamajan, LLC will use your personal information for the following purposes;
(1) To accept orders, sell and ship Kamajan, LLC's products.
(2) To provide information and respond to inquiries related to Kamajan, LLC's products and services.
(3) To provide information on Kamajan, LLC's products and service.
(4) To deal with acts that are in breach of Kamajan, LLC's terms of use, policies and other rules (collectively, "Terms and Policies") related to Kamajan, LLC's products and services.
(5) To notify changes to the Terms and Policies related to Kamajan, LLC's products and services.

Kamajan, LLC will not, without obtaining your prior consent, handle your personal information beyond the scope necessary for the achievement of the purpose of utilization, unless the use of your personal information is permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations; save for the following cases;

(2) Cases in which the handling of personal information is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and in which it is difficult to obtain your consent.
(3) Cases in which the handling of personal information is especially necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children and in which it is difficult to obtain your consent.
(4) Cases in which the handling of personal information is necessary for cooperating with a state organ, a local government, or an individual or a business operator entrusted by either of the former two in executing the affairs prescribed by laws and regulations and in which obtaining your consent is likely to impede the execution of the affairs concerned.
- Proper acquisition of personal information
Kamajan, LLC will properly acquire personal information, and will not acquire personal information by deception or other wrongful means.
- Safety control of personal information
Kamajan, LLC will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over its employees to ensure the safety control of personal information against risks such as the loss, destruction, falsification or divulgence of personal information. Furthermore, when Kamajan, LLC is to entrust the handling of personal information in whole or in part, Kamajan, LLC will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over the trustee to ensure the safety control of the entrusted personal information.
- Provision of personal information to a third party
Kamajan, LLC will not, without obtaining your prior consent, provide your personal information to a third party unless the use of your personal information is permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations. However, that the following cases do not correspond to the provision of personal information to a third party.
(1) Kamajan, LLC entrusts the handling of personal information in whole or in part within the scope necessary for the achievement of the purpose of utilization.
(2) Personal information is provided as a result of the succession of business in a merger or otherwise.
- Disclosure of personal information
When Kamajan, LLC is requested by its customer to disclose his/her personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act, Kamajan, LLC will verify that the request was actually made by such customer, and then promptly disclose the customer's personal information to the customer (if there is no corresponding personal information, Kamajan, LLC will notify the customer to such effect); save for cases where Kamajan, LLC does not bear the obligation to disclose personal information under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations. If you request the disclosure of your personal information, please kindly note in advance that Kamajan, LLC will charge you 300 yen to 1,000 yen per request as a service charge.
- Correction, addition or deletion of personal information
When Kamajan, LLC is requested by its customer to correct, add or delete the subject matter of his/her personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act on grounds that the customer's personal information is contrary to facts, Kamajan, LLC will verify that the request was actually made by such customer, and then promptly carry out necessary investigation within the scope necessary for the achievement of the purpose of utilization and, on the basis of the results, correct, add or delete the customer's personal information and then notify the customer to such effect (if Kamajan, LLC decides not to correct, add or delete the customer's personal information, Kamajan, LLC will notify the customer to such effect); save for cases where Kamajan, LLC does not bear the obligation to correct, add or delete personal information under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.
- Discontinuation of use or erasure and discontinuation of provision of personal information
When Kamajan, LLC is requested by its customer to discontinue using or to erase his/her personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act on grounds that the customer's personal information is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of utilization that was publicly announced in advance or was acquired by deception or other wrongful means, or requested by its customer to discontinue providing to a third party his/her personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act on grounds that the customer's personal information is being provided to a third party without the customer's consent, and where it is found that there are grounds for such request, Kamajan, LLC will verify that the request was actually made by such customer, and then promptly discontinue using or erase or discontinue providing the customer's personal information, and notify the customer to such effect; save for cases where Kamajan, LLC does not bear the obligation to discontinue using or erase or discontinue providing personal information under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.
- Use of a Cookie and other technologies
Kamajan, LLC's services may use a Cookie and other similar technologies. These technologies are useful for Kamajan, LLC to comprehend the status of use of Kamajan, LLC's services and will contribute to the improvement of Kamajan, LLC's services. If you wish to invalidate the Cookie, you can do so by changing your web browser setting; provided, however, that, if you invalidate the Cookie, there may be cases where you will not be able to use certain functions of Kamajan, LLC's services.
